Can anyone do a decent lap of the TT on expert, without falling off. I've tried expert mode a few times and find myself falling off about 10 times before I get to bray Hill!!! Is it just me or it expert too hard! I always use amateur!

Hi there,

Expert is tough. I started off 4 years ago with expert out of the box but it's not for everyone. My best time with expert on-bike view is something like 16:12 in RRRC. In the first game my best was 16:31 on the TAS on expert with no crashes.

How long have you been playing?

My advice is to work through the whole game without using the cheats and work your way up through the bikes. It's the best way to learn it. It took me a year to complete the game on expert with on-bike view but it was worth it!

I've been playing since the game was released. You couldn't get me off the game for the first year or so but don't play it so much now. Realy love the game still but would love a next gen, with better graphics and more options. Might have gave up too early with expert mode, but just love the thrill of riding round the TT, getting the perfect lines, which amature does it for me!!

Fairplay! It's cool having a full-on blast whether it's novice or expert, doesn't make any difference- the most important is getting the right lines!

I came back to this game recently and I always ride on expert behind the handlebars. On the Monster Ducati, I set a 19:48 with only two crashes, which is slow by the standards of some of the veterans around here but it's quick seeing as when I first started playing this game, my times were up around 25 minutes.
And trust me, when you get down to around the 20 minute mark,
it really feels FAST!

I've only once gone back down to intermediate to try and beat some challenges I was struggling with.
Other than that, it's been expert all the way.
These games are definitely the most challenging games i've ever played.
Thing is though, you don't just play the game, you have to tame it.
