Sorry, been up to lots of stuff that means I can't TT regularly. Still, had some island time over last couple of weeks and been trying to improve my times (all on-bike expert of course ) Just managed to do a 16:14 on the Superbike with one crash and some untidy bits. I've set the suspension really hard in the HM plant and other than having to nurse it from Ginger Hall to Ramsey, it goes well. Also managed a 16:20 on the Paul Owen Superstock. So, I reckon it's not long before I get into the sub 15 club now!

| Hi Dexter, those 16.14min with 1 crash, around the Isle,is a monster time mate, especially with the onboard! Not a lot of people could do that, and surely your one to do a sub 16lap.Youknow a crash isent allways just 5 seks.It very much depends on where you crash, and I have sometimes picked the bike back up,and found that i'v lost 10seks. or more,so you might be closer than you think |

Howdy partners!!!
Who'll be first to sub 16 with on-bike expert? SD or GSXR?
I've not played for a couple of months, had a blast the other night for a laugh put in a 16:22 which wasn't too bad considering how rusty I was- it felt like warp speed after so long without racing!!!!
I'm still convinced that sub-16 is on with on-bike expert, but I reckon it's gonna be on a Honda not the Aviva.
Good to see you guys are still around and keeping it pinned!!!! |

Glad to see you all ignored my deliberate mistake of saying sub 15! I hink that one is a long way off yet!

Well after I did my run of 16:14.46 with one crash in it, I had another go, my thumb slipped off the stick going into the third left hander of the 32nd and I clipped the posts on the outside and crashed. Lap time was... 16:14.42! If I'm only going to improve by 4 hundredths a lap, sub-16 is still a long way off!

Good luck you two getting that sub 16/onboard.I'v just dugg out Legends again myself, but i'v gone back to behind the bike.Been trying to beat my PB on the TAS.Im actually dont feel so far of,and rusty as I whould have expectet, and i'v convinced myself I can do it,as everytime I watch the replay I find myself to be pretty sloppy LoL I even run out of fuel 150-200m before the finish, but I have to say I struggle a lot in the beginning, and the opening is pretty pumped.I brake very hard down to Govenours bridge, where I fall behind, and I think it might take a good deal of practise, before im able to consistently do that again, and get away with it,or before I am able to completely close the gap Anyway the game is still a blast, and its good to see some familiar faces around here again

I always have to short shift down the Nook towards Governors as it always seems to want to flip down there. I really hate that bit though, actually I don't like any of the slow bits, hairpin, gooseneck, oh and Sulby Bridge too. I really want to slip the clutch more but I don't have one (I don't think)

Be interesting when the new game comes out (whether that be next week, next year or whenever ;-) ) to see if the new road to Governors from Signpost is in (and also whether the reprofiled Brandish is incorporated). Those course changes are worth a good bit of time I'd say !
Happy new year all btw :-D |

Ohh the've changed Govourners bridge have they,to try and make it a bit more bike-friendly I take it?It certainly is very bumby as it is,and I dont think I whould miss it very much.Anyway I think I messed up with the names again. When I said Govourners bridge,I really was talking about the opening comming down to Quarter bridge Theres just so many bridges LoL |

More bridges than London (probably !)
The approach from The Nook To Governors has changed, so that they could use an access road - the dip through the right handed hairpin and the off camber left-right onto Glencrutchery Road are still used though. |

Watched the first race JD but recorded the rest.
Got up this morning and did a 16:05 on-bike expert.

Sinister, Can you give me the exact times for the lap records thread, please. For now, I'll assume your "16.05" is "16.05.something". In other words, you didn't break 16.05. So I'll put it at 16.06 until I hear from you. Likewise, I'll take your 16.20 as 16.21 for the records. Cheers. And well done!!
Did I mention, I once won a brand new CBR 600 playing TT Superbikes? |

| Hi Dex,tough luck mate!I can see how getting so close to a sub 16 whould be gutrenching.Still I think you should feel very satisfied with just getting so close, and under 1/10 of a sek of what is considerd the ultimate goal by most of us,and do a 16 flat+ 0,05 is an amasing achivement imo |
